The Ultimate Young Women Bloggers List

Hey everyone!

So I don’t know about you, but I’m always looking for new blogs to binge-read in one sitting. The blogging community is huge, but when I got into blogging again after my year-long hiatus I looked for a comprehensive list of blogs, but didn’t find a good one.  In fact, no list had more than 10 blogs on it and trust me–I read way more than 10 blogs a day.

So I’m trying to create a comprehensive blog list for college-age and young adult blogging girls! I want this to help connect bloggers to each other and make us more aware of who is writing in our niches! This way when we’re looking for new blogs to read it’s as easy as a click of a button!

In order to create a community that is thriving and alive, there need to be some guidelines. Before linking up your blog or another person’s, please read through these rules first!

Rules:

1. The blog must be active

This means that they have to have posting at least 2x a month to make it onto this list. I want this to become a place where girls can come and find blogging resources and friends who are actually going to be able to respond to e-mails, reply to comments, and check out their blog in return! I don’t want you to have to go through this list and weed through inactive blogs to find active ones, so if the blog doesn’t post at least 2x a month that’s not active enough, I’m sorry.

2. The blog cannot be derogatory towards any minority group

I’m not interested in linking to any blog that supports racism or other types of discrimination. I’m sorry, but if your blog is perpetuating harmful beliefs about the superiority or inferiority of any minority, I don’t want to support it.

That being said, blogs that discuss issues such as racism or the submission debate or other theological issues that are touchy subjects are free to be linked up! I do believe in freedom of speech! ;) I hope that the distinction is clear between discussing taboo subjects and perpetuating discrimination.

3. The blog must be a blog, not a website for a company.

This isn’t the place to advertise your company or online Etsy store. This is a place for bloggers to connect, so if your primary focus isn’t blogging, please do not link up your blog here.

4. The blog must be written by 20-something/college-aged girls to 20-something/college-aged girls.

If we make a list of all of the different kinds of blogs that would just be way too long. This is already going to be huge, so I’m sorry, but this is going to just be a young women’s blog linkup!

Exceptions: high school students who write content that young adults relate to (not how to survive high school, for instance, but beauty tutorials or workout stuff, as an example) or more mature women who write content for 20-somethings! This isn’t the linkup for homeschooling blogs, for instance, but there are a bunch of blogging resource blogs that I adore that are written by people who have already graduated college. Bottom line: your blog has to be relatable for the demographic I’m trying to reach.

So now that we’ve got the rules down, here’s the practical steps:

How to link up your blog:

You can link up your blog or a blog that you enjoy by going to my page with the list and fill in the link-up for the category it falls into!

That’s all there is to it! Also if you can think of a better title please let me know. ;) I want it to be clear what this is but it’s sort of wordy at the moment!

So let’s build community!
