5 Christian Playlists for College Students

23 Nov

I am SO excited to introduce you all to a snazzy girl and fellow Rebecca that I actually met over my twitter account: Bekah Joy! She is totally into Christian music, and I’ve been wanting to find some great Christian songs to jam out to so when she pitched this idea to me for a post I was super excited! These songs are catchy, refreshing, and rejuvenating, so sit back, relax, and enjoy!

I truly believe music feeds the soul. Sounds crazy right? Well it’s definitely not! There’s just something about music, and more specifically Christian music, that hits my soul and I can almost hear God talking to me. There’s such a variety of songs that work for so many things. That’s why I made some playlists for different times that us college students go through! [Read more…]

Homeschooling to College

16 Nov
Hey, lovely ladies! I’m extremely busy this month, and in order to have enough time to maintain my mental health I’ve decided to let others make my points for me a few days this month, and today it’s my sister’s turn!

In case you don’t know, my sister, Katie Gregoire, is a YouTuber who talks about everything the Christian teen/college student wants to know about! She’s funny, insightful, and uber-cute, so you all should check her out here!

To get an idea of what her channel is like, I’m sharing one of her videos today, which I’m SUPER excited to do! I just know you’re going to love her channel. [Read more…]

10 Quick & Easy Snack Ideas for Students

9 Nov
I love snacks, and I honestly don’t think I’d make it through the day without them. Over the last year, too, I’ve found some of my best snack ideas yet!

I like to lift, so I usually start my day at 7:30 with a workout, and I find that when I do I’m hungry the rest of the day! Last year, I’d often just go to the convenience store and just pick up a little bag of popcorn (it’s my kryptonite) or some M&Ms but I realized (a) how much money I was wasting and (b) that it was very counter-productive to do a great workout and then shove processed crap into my body.

So I started making my own snacks at home, and ones I could make in bulk! I am the laziest cook you will ever meet–I love meals that I can make triple the batch of and freeze in individual containers for lunches for the next two weeks, and so if I’m going to put the time and energy into making snacks it better be quick, easy, and able to be made in bulk. This isn’t going to be a recipe for any of these ideas, because there are so many wonderful ones already, so I’ll just link to some of my favourites! [Read more…]

11 Money Saving Tips for College Students

4 Nov

As a college student, I’m always trying to find new money saving tips, since I am also feeling the whole “I’m in college and I’m broke” stress.

The funny thing is, though, that once I started looking I found so many! On top of that, most of these tips also promote green-living, which is a double-bonus in my book!

None of us have much money in college, let’s be real, which is why finding good financial advice for college students is so important. The question is, then, how you can minimize debt. And the answer is through smart spending!

The best part is, spring smart is a lot easier than it sounds. Here are some ways you can spend smarter to save more. [Read more…]

11 Worst Things about Being an ENTJ in College

2 Nov
I’m in my final year of undergrad right now and let me tell you—being an ENTJ in college is not easy.

College isn’t exactly easy for anyone, but I do think that some personality types are more suited for school life than others. I’m an ENTJ, one of the rarest female types, and although I love the college experience, school frustrates me to no end. I just can’t wait to get out into the real world—as much as I love college, I feel like it’s this little fishbowl that I’m stuck in, looking out on everything that could be, told I need to be content to swim around in circles until I pay my dues and get to graduate into the real world.

I wrote a post a while back about what it was like being an ENTJ Christian girl, and it got so much positive feedback that I decided to talk about it again! So, before we go any further, here’s a quick overview of what it means to be an ENTJ: [Read more…]
