10 College Bloggers I Love | Top 10 Tuesdays

12 Apr

So I’ve been a college blogger for just over a year now, and let me tell you—it’s been a crazy ride.

There have been some amazing things that have come from being a college blogger. I became more confident in my studies, I created content that helped literally thousands of students worldwide, and I’ve met some pretty wonderful people along the way.

The college blogging world is actually a pleasantly small one, since there are a lot of college fashion bloggers but not many who actually focus on college issues in terms of studying, time management, and academia in general. So whenever I find a great college blogger, I am immediately a follower. I know that many of you are always looking for more great resources when it comes to college issues, and since I’m such huge fans of these bloggers I thought I’d share them with you!

Looking for a new college blogger or two to follow? Check out this list of 10 great college bloggers to check out to help you achieve your college goals!

1: Tori from Chase the Write Dream

So many good things going for Tori that make me absolutely love her blog. She was also a psych student, actually, and gives amazing tips for every question you might have about college study tips, writing essays, networking—you name it. Plus, she often has great resources from other blogs and I appreciate what a great job she does with networking with other bloggers in her niche!

2: Sara from Sara Laughed

Sara is one of my favourite college bloggers and does a mix of faith/lifestyle commentary posts and college posts and they are all wonderful. Something I especially love about Sara’s blog is how much it promotes positivity and self-acceptance rather than the competitiveness so often found on social media and the blogging world. Whenever I read her blog I feel happier! Plus, she started a great project called the Sunflower Project for twenty-something women that is all about promoting positivity and encouraging each other. Check out the facebook group here!

3: Hope from The Young Hopeful

This blog is seriously a go-to place for any collegiate. I don’t think there’s a single topic that The Young Hopeful hasn’t covered! Her posts are always very easy to apply to your own life and I’ve seen some really positive changes from following her advice!

4: Dani from Dani Dearest

I first found Dani’s blog through the HerCampus influencer network. Something I think is great about Dani’s blog is how she is so involved in the HerCampus chapter at her own school and how her posts are always very empowering to her readers to get up and make positive changes in their lives to help them achieve their goals.

5: Abigail from Living the Gray Life

Something that I just love about Abigail on top of her great college tips posts is that she has such a kind heart! She’s always encouraging others in the blogging community and encouraging others to help out people in need in their areas (Check out her post about writing letters to kids in hospitals).

6: Valeria from Valeria’s Metanoia

I “met” Valeria through her e-mailing me about starting a blog, actually, and when she did start it I was immediately a loyal fan! Valeria is a blogger from Costa Rica who talks about faith and college issues. I love how her posts are so genuine and she uses stories from her own life to help others. She’s a relatively new blogger so make sure to visit her and leave a note!

7: Samantha from As Life Grows

One of the many reasons I love Samantha’s blog is that all of her tips are so to-the-point and applicable! Often when I’m in a hurry I find it frustrating to read unstructured blog posts so I always find Samantha’s posts really refreshing and helpful! I’ve actually followed a lot of her tips and they’ve been really helpful! Highly recommend this college blogger!

8: Courtney from As We Stumble Along

Courtney is an avid college blogger who has an arsenal of blog posts on everything a collegiate could ever need to know. Also, she has a great twitter party going on that I try to make whenever I can! Join the next #thestumbleisreal party sometime to get to know her!

9: Hayle from Hayle Olson

I only found Hayley’s college blog a few weeks ago on Pinterest and I immediately loved how happy and cheery her posts are! Hayle’s blog works as the perfect pick-me-up after a long day at school or work, and she has a youtube channel, too! She doesn’t only talk college, too–she also has a great beauty and fashion section on her blog which has some great tips for busy college students who still want to practice some self care in college and stay looking nice!

10: Morgan from Mostly Morgan

Although Morgan is slowly leaving the college blogger circle to go more towards millennial lifestyle, she’s got so many amazing posts about study tips, time management, and the like on her blog and her lifestyle posts are also super applicable to college students. I highly suggest checking her her blog, she’s been a favourite of mine for a while!

Now obviously these are not the only college bloggers that I read and love, but I hope that this gives you some more blogs to check out and follow to help you achieve your goals for college! That’s really all that we bloggers want, anyway–to help you guys, our readers.
